What We Know About the Next-Gen Dodge Charger

The gasoline-powered Dodge Charger is gone, but the next-gen Dodge Charger is officially in the works. We’re excited to see the final product when it arrives in showrooms like ours, but we can tell you what we know about this new Dodge model so far when you come and visit us at Helfman Dodge Chrysler Jeep® RAM FIAT.
All-Electric Power
As we mentioned, the old Dodge Charger that used gasoline is no longer in production. The new model is an all-electric muscle car with plenty of horsepower to boast about.
The Dodge Charger Daytona Twin Scat Pack will be powered by two electric motors, one on its front wheels and one on its rear wheels. Together they can produce an astounding 670 horsepower and an estimated 627 lb-ft of torque. If you thought that electric cars had to be boring, this new Dodge model should put that myth to rest for you.
A Serious Need for Speed
That power is not just for show. The Dodge Charger Daytona Twin Scat Pack is expected to go from zero-to-sixty in a mere 3.3 seconds. Its quarter-mile time is expected to be around 11.5 seconds.
The Stylish Exterior
The new Dodge Charger is also expected to make a statement with its bold widebody design. One new touch we like is the patent-pending R-Wing aero pass-through. This is an innovative front opening that is designed to minimize drag so that you can reach higher speeds.
