Built Ready for Everything: The 2023 RAM 1500 Classic

The 2023 RAM 1500 Classic is exactly what it sounds like. This iconic truck has always been the “everything” truck, from a personal driver to a heavy work truck. This model year represents this long history well, with power and performance in equal measure as luxury and technology.

Performance Unmatched

You have two engine options. The first is the 3.6-liter Pentastar® V6 which delivers 305 horsepower. The other option is the iconic 5.7-liter HEMI® V8 which pumps out 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Trim Levels

This new RAM truck comes in two trims, an optional four-wheel drive, and a total of four cab/bed configurations. With the Tradesman® trim, you can choose between:

  • Regular Cab with an eight-foot bed
  • Quad Cab with a six-foot four-inch bed
  • Crew Cab with a five-foot seven-inch bed
  • Crew Cab with a six-foot four-inch bed

The Warlock trim only offers the shorter Crew Cab and the Quad cab style. This is traded off for a few features and options that the Tradesman trim doesn’t have, like an optional sunroof, leather steering wheel, and cloth seats.

Technology

This new model year is also loaded with tech. It starts with the available seven-inch Digital Cluster Display and 8.4-inch Uconnect® 4C NAV system. Voice control helps with all the apps and other features like Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration, available 4G Wi-Fi® hotspot, and hands-free calling.

As a new RAM owner, you will also have access to your truck’s information from the RAM app on your smartphone, which lets you unlock your doors, check your miles, and note your vehicle status.
